You can call me Tom or Mr. Crocker. (For some reason a lot of the younger people I meet laugh when I tell them that, though I’m not sure why.) I’ve had a good day, I like my job so work is satisfying. How has your day been?
it’s alright! and the friendlier the better. i mean, that was what i was always taught.
but i’ve met jane. she’s a really nice girl. it probably wasn’tyourjane, but it was still a jane! and i’m sure she’s pretty similar across timelines.
i think i’ll call you mr. crocker. i don’t know why people would think it’s funny to say that. i think it’s more polite, than anything.
but my day was really good! i got to take a really nice nap and baked muffins. things have been pretty steady, so i’m generally ok with everything. i’m glad you had a nice day, though. :)
